Terms of Service

Last updated: October 24, 2026

The short version

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and AdmitGPS ("we", "us"), which is currently operated by its founder. By creating an account or using AdmitGPS, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use AdmitGPS.

2. Who can use AdmitGPS

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you may use AdmitGPS only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for any purchase. Parents and guardians who buy Plus for a student are responsible for that student's use of it.

3. Your account

Keep access to your email account secure, since sign-in links are sent there. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away at smbeagle2525@gmail.com if you think someone else has used it. You can delete your account at any time from Profile โ†’ Your data.

4. Free and Plus plans

AdmitGPS has a free plan and a paid plan, AdmitGPS Plus. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy (at launch, $29.99 per month or $299 per year, plus any applicable tax).

5. Your AI counselor

The counselor, DreamFit action plans and voice replies are generated by artificial intelligence, not by a human counselor. AI can make mistakes, including about deadlines, requirements, costs and policies. Use its guidance as one input, check important facts with each college, and talk to your school counselor, parents or other trusted adults about big decisions. It isn't legal, financial, medical or mental-health advice.

The counselor helps you brainstorm and improve your own work; it won't write your essays for you. You're responsible for following each college's and your school's rules on honesty in applications.

If you're ever in crisis or thinking about hurting yourself, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, in the U.S.), call 911 in an emergency, or talk to a trusted adult right away.

6. College information and estimates

College data comes mainly from the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and other public sources, and may be out of date or incomplete. Admit rates, chances, net prices, rankings and categories like Likely, Target and Reach are estimates. We don't guarantee admission, scholarships, financial aid or any other outcome. Always confirm details on each college's official website.

7. Using AdmitGPS responsibly

Please don't:

We may set reasonable usage limits (for example, a daily number of counselor messages) to keep the service fast and fair for everyone.

8. Your content

What you enter, such as your profile, lists and messages, stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run AdmitGPS for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Our content

AdmitGPS, including its design, software, name and logo, belongs to us and is protected by law. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial college planning.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using AdmitGPS and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund any unused prepaid Plus time. We may change or stop parts of the service; if we stop Plus entirely, we'll refund unused prepaid time.

11. Disclaimers

AdmitGPS is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that the service will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

12. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for admission, scholarship or financial-aid decisions made by any college or organization. Our total liability for any claim relating to AdmitGPS is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

13. Disputes

If you have a problem, please email us first so we can try to fix it. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the U.S. state in which AdmitGPS's operating company is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use AdmitGPS after that means you accept the updated terms.
